D-node, it is installed on optical node, integrated both common CATV optical receiver and CMTS based on DOCSIS technology. It is an integrated optical-electrical transformation equipment offer both CATV signal optical receiving and IP data transformation function. With both CATV optical port and IP optical port, it connects into HFC and IP backbone network as well as the coaxial distributive network. It works with both cable modem and Two-Way set-top box. It is quite easy to remote monitor and operates.

In fact, D-node is a full service optical node.

The D-node is very flexible to use and there is almost no transmission distance limitation. It could be connected to both Ethernet fiber trunk and EPON. It can be installed on both optical nodes and distributed at the apartment. You may choose either the optical port or electrical port. The D-node will offer full protection of your original investments.

The D-node could meet all requirements of the HFC bandwidth network, it support those service transferring such as analog TV, digital TV, interactive digital TV and broadband internet service. Whats more, It is tailor made for hotel, school, company, hospital and village broadband networking construction, too.
